This exhaust vent on this home had probably been hit with a golf ball, whatever happened a louver on the vent had broken off allowing easy access for birds. The vent had been plugged solid with birdy junk from the outside 2 feet into the ducting. Cover was removed and thrown away. Debris was pulled out, then fan was turned on and ducting was brushed until no particulate was coming out anymore. New louvered vent was installed and caulked, bird and mouse guard was installed to protect from future damage and nest building..
