Donald Trump told Fox News Friday that all of his policies were just “suggestions” that were subject to change once he actually became president. Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade asked Trump about his comments Wednesday that seemed to backtrack on his proposed ban on Muslim immigration. “This is just a suggestion until we find out what’s going on,” Trump told Fox’s Greta Van Susteran. “It was a suggestion,” Trump said in response.. “Look, anything I say right now– I’m not the president. Everything is a suggestion, no matter what you say, it’s a suggestion.” Watch above, via Fox News.this morning on fox & friends, Donald Trump weighed in on his highly anticipated meeting with House Speaker Paul Ryan on unifying the Republican Party. The meeting was called after Ryan last week declined to endorse Trump. At a press conference following the meeting today, Ryan still would not publicly do so, but said he was he was “very encouraged” and that they are “planting the seeds” to get unified. Trump told Sean Hannity that he felt it was a great meeting and that the sentiment was shared by Ryan and others who were there, like RNC Chairman Reince Priebus. "We discussed a lot of very important things, and I thought it was really a very, very good meeting. I think Paul felt the same way and everybody else did, also."Trump had complimentary words for Ryan, saying he felt that he was doing a "good job" leading House Republicans. "He doesn’t have an easy job. And I don’t mind going through a little bit of a slow process. It’s a very big subject. I mean, we have a lot of things, and I think for the most part we agree on a lot of different items. And we are getting there.
