WILL THE RIOT SHIELD RETURN IN BLACK OPS 3. There’s a good chance. It’s in the campaign and has been teased in the multiplayer map Havoc. Even though Vonderhaar denies the return of the riot shield, I wouldn’t be surprised if Activision convinces them to put it in supply drops. If the riot shield does get added back to Black Ops 3, then it should be given to EVERYONE for free, and even then it would be unfairly combo’d with specialists (i.e. gravity spikes and ripper).
