We progress into the Cliff's Edge Hotel basement, where some turrets have killed more ghouls. Down an elevator we find the vault door to Vault 118. Upon attempting to open it, a Mr Handy called Maxwell asks us if we are the detective we sent for. Answering yes lets us into the vault. Its populated by Mr Handy's and Robobrains. It appears a murder has occurred, and we start the quest Brain Dead, and have to solve the murder. We explore a bit and come to the overseers office. They are dead and the only human here. Their holotape and terminal entries tell us what the vault experiment was. Then we question Santiago Avida over the murders, and in the process they show us their paintings.
